We welcome you to a bumper night at 90mil, taking you through the evening hours and into the night, featuring a wide array of performances from locals in the Berlin scene. The evening will feature live sets from Aperture, Dakn, Davide Luciani, Gertie Adelaido and Ju Ray’m, intertwined with DJ sets from the likes of Boniface, Miri Malek and ophélie.

APERTURE

Aperture are siblings Elisabetta and Emanuele Porcinai. Their music explores tension between hushed intimate spoken vocals and singing amidst soundscapes of guitars, bass and percussion soaked in electronically derived detailing. A joint pathway spanning over fifteen years has led to the release of three albums.For Stray SIgnals, they’ll also be playing material from their upcoming release.

BONIFACE

Working in the self titled feild of 'audio tapestry', boniface’s works are a densely woven web of sounds, feeling and textures. For this rendition of stray signals, a mix of latest works will be played on the sound system. Later in the night, he’ll join for a b2b with Miri Malek.

DAKN

Dakn داكن is a Berlin based experimental rapper, producer and selector from Ramallah, Palestine. As he emerged from the city’s underground music scene, he has built an unparalleled reputation as a thought-provoking lyricist who pushes the boundaries of both the physical and mental realms through his lyrical abilities in Arabic language.

DAVIDE LUCIANI

Davide Luciani is an Italian-born/Berlin-based musician and artist working across sound and media arts. His work crafts spaces where perception hinges on sonic tension, taking form in spatial sound pieces, erratic sound collages and visceral music.

GERTIE ADELAIDO

gertie adelaido is an open channel, sound experimentalist, artist and meta-punk & ADHD-core creator. Through the heart of chaos they combine different areas of harsh noise, raw experimental sound, their hardcore, metal & screamo roots, contemporary electronics, drums

JU RAY’M

Ju Ray’m presents Nuclear Unclear. Ju’s practice takes shape in collaborative and site specific processes. Their latest work Nuclear Unclear reflects a daily that oscillates between haunted past and precognized futures. The instruments - voice-body, synthesizer and electronics - use alternative tuning systems and odd pulses to improvise on arranged pieces and songs.

MIRI MALEK

Miri Malek is a Scottish-Iranian DJ, producer & curator based in Berlin & creator of DWAM. Behind the decks Miri is a sharp and playful selector, delivering a powerful blend of weighty UK-rooted bass cuts with stranger selections across grime, dubstep, footwork & leftfield bass.

ophélie

ophélie is a DJ and producer with an affinity for low frequencies, intricate percussions and bass-heavy music in all its forms. They are interested in the fluid, organic, and often melancholic aspect of music, achieved through combining multiple layers of sounds, creating weird (poly)rhythms, and drawing inspiration from natural landscapes.
